The Finn Factor by Rachel Bailey REVIEW

Title: The Finn Factor by Rachel Bailey

Rate: 4/5 🌟’s

Review: I really enjoyed reading The Finn Factor. It was really cute at times and yes a little frustrating but not much. It was frustrating because of the situations that kept setting the characters apart. It has nothing to do with the characters at all which is beautiful.

I love all the characters in this story, especially Harvey, he’s funny and adorable. Not once did I want any of the characters to leave. This book is 206 pages long (in the ebook at least) and it didn’t feel like it dragged at all. Of all the books I’ve been trying to finish lately, this is the book to finally break that streak (thank God!!). Every time I put the book down because work or acting got in the way, I found that when I had nothing to do I was actually reaching for my nook, which hasn’t happened in a while. This book actually drew me in and I couldn’t stop reading.

It’s sort of a quick read, really cute, and I just love everything about it. I purchased it for nook not too long ago and I think I got it discounted thru bookbub, so if you guys follow BookBub or are subscribed, hopefully this book is still available for the cheap price of $0.99.

This is a short post but just wanted to get this review in before I forget haha. Have a great day, or night, depending on where you live. Hope you enjoyed these thoughts and such.

Hello everyone!!

It has been a while since I’ve posted anything but I am happy to announce I am back!!

I have been busy with acting lately but I have finally found a window to write another post. And what an exciting post this is. Now, considering I’m behind on social media and feel like I’m the first to know about things when really I’m the last to know, you guys might have already heard about this but eff it. I’m announcing it anyway in case any of you are like me and haven’t heard anything about it yet.

First news I would love to bring up is…drumroll… The Shatter Me Series!!! Yes I know the book series ended a while ago but it has just been announced that Tahereh Mafi (the author of the series for those of you who don’t know) has 3 NEW books to add to the series. That’s right people, the Shatter Me series will no longer be a trilogy but a…hexology?? A 6-book series, let’s just say that. It is said that the next books coming out will be continuing off from book 3 (Ignite Me). So it is not a spin-off but a continuing-off…I should stop inventing words…a sequel as some may say.

The book will come in 2 different POV’s which are Juliette’s POV and Warner’s (😍) POV. I cannot wait for the series to continue but unfortunately we have to wait until 2018 for the next book to come out. But I do have to be grateful to the writers of the TV series for asking Tahereh Mafi a question even she didn’t know the answer to which led her to reread her series and realize that Juliette’s journey had just begun. And thus people, the continuation of the Shatter Me series is born!! (\^_^/) 🌈

For more info on this amazing news, here is the link:

Also, for those of you who aren’t aware either, yes, you have read correctly, Shatter Me is becoming a TV series so all you actresses out there, my claws are out and may the odds be ever in your favor ✌🏻👆🏻 (pretend that’s one hand holding up 3 fingers). My heart may belong to Celaena Sardothien so you girls still may have a chance with Juliette because I’m not giving up Celaena for anything (even tho I’m not blonde, I will fight).

Here is a link to more info on the Shatter Me TV series for those of you who are interested in that info:

Yes I had to write it in all caps because it’s so exciting!!! Here is the link to the exercpt. If you don’t care about the questionare, like me, because you’re too excited for the excerpt then scroll to the bottom of the article and you will find what we have been waiting for. Well part of what we’ve all been waiting for.

Sarah J. Maas shares excerpt from ‘A Court of Wings and Ruin’

That’s all for now folks. Comment and subscribe (or follow, I still don’t know how this thing works) and have a precious day!! ☀️

No Sleep Podcast

Hey everyone,

With school and life and everything my reading time has been cut down to a minimum. I know there are audiobooks but its not the same and at times I can’t connect with the book. Only one book has been a success in audiobook and that is “The Call” which I will post later on about that experience.

Todays post is about a podcast called ” No Sleep” I have been addicted listening to them!! I love their stories. All the stories are from this site called RedIt. I had read one from there once and it gave me goosebumps but I LOVED IT! Now I listen to them as well and it is creepy good!!

Different stories each time. Of course not all of them are good but MOST are. These are stories created by people and they post them on Redit and some have even been published. I personally, love how the run the podcast. They have different people each time telling the story. They put eerie music and sound effects that you feel you are watching a movie. They really go all out to make you feel the feeling of “No Sleep”. One really gets pulled in. I have been listening to them and started from their very first episode.

I HIGHLY recommend you guys listen them. Especially if you are like me and want to read but can’t cause life and all and you can’t quite connect to audio books at times, then this is the next best thing. If you have and Ipod/Iphone/Ipad just search them up in your podcast app. You’ll find them there! or for people w/ samsung or other devices you can check them out here:

No sleep Site:

This are scary/creepy/horror type stories. So no lovey dovey and sometimes NO happy endings. So if you into that and are okay with that then GO CHECK THEM OUT CAUSE ITS AWESSOME!!

Thank You for reading guys

Until next Time (^^)/

“Books with Poetry”

Hey guys!
Sorry (>.<)>  Stephanie and I haven’t posted for a while. Life stuff going on and since we still new to the blogging world we still trying to adjust. We will try to keep up and maybe create some type of schedule.

Poetry. Have any of you guys read Poetry books/reads? Any good poetry books you guys could recommend would be awesome! Lately, I have started to venture out of my comfort zone and started reading other types of genres I would most likely not pick up and poetry was one of them.

Normally I would get bored when I was in middle school or high school but now I am actually enjoying it. I have not picked up many only two types of poetry books. One called “The Princess Saves Herself In this one” by Amanda Lovelace, which I rated ☆☆☆.2/ 5 stars. It was ok… some of it was actually good. I had some favorites in the book BUT then there were other stuff that were ehh…so ya. Sorry if you read it and loved it but this is my personal opinion.

The other book is called “Bull” by David Elliott which is the reason I am doing this post and I rate it a ☆☆☆.7/5 stars. It is based around a famous myth story Theseus and the Minotaur and I am a Mythology Junkie so I had to pick this up! (eARc given through Netgalley).  It wasn’t that bad. I would probably post a book review for this one just because I actually enjoyed it. So look forward to that! This book will officially be out March 28th 2017.

A book I’ve been hearing good stuff about is “Milk and Honey” by Rupi Kaur. I haven’t picked it up but when I have the chance I think I will. So far everyone in the bookstagram community (Instagram but for books) has good ratings on this baby so hopefully I’ll enjoy it too!

If you guys read poetry or have read any good ones and would like to share please comment down below cause I wouldn’t mind picking up new ones! Thank you for reading guys and Until next time (^^)/.

  • Any Boy But You by Julie Hammerle

Any Boy but You by [Hammerle, Julie]

Elena Chestnut has been chatting with an anonymous boy late into the night. It’s a very You’ve Got Mail situation, and she has no idea who he is. Hecan’t be Oliver Prince, hot-and-bashful son of the family running the rival sporting goods store. Their fancy sales strategies are driving Elena’s family out of business. Elena’s mystery boy has teamed up with her in their latest sales strategy, an augmented reality game, to help her win the grand-prize plane tickets. Money’s so tight Elena’s going to miss senior year spring break with her friends if she can’t win this game.

The girl Oliver’s fallen head-over-heels for online had better not be Elena Chestnut. She’s his angry, vindictive Latin tutor, the daughter of his dad’s business rival, and the one girl he’d never even think of kissing. She’s definitely not his online crush, because that girl is funny, sweet, and perfect.

When Oliver asks to reveal their names at the Valentine’s Day dance, their IRL relationship will either ruin what they have online, or they’ll discover just how thin the line between love and hate really is.

  • There’s Something About Nik by Sara Hantz

There's Something About Nik by [Hantz, Sara]

Nik Gustafsson has a secret: He’s not really Nik Gustafsson.

He’s not a spy. He’s not crazy.

He’s just the son and heir to one of the most important families in Europe—one where duty always comes first. And his posh, too-public life is suffocating him. So when he gets the chance to attend boarding school in America, pretending to be an average exchange student is too big of a temptation to pass up.

Then he literally runs into Amber on campus. And she hates him at first sight.

It’s kind of exhilarating to be hated for who he is, not for his family name or his wealth. Maybe if he turns up the charm and turns down the aloof mask he habitually wears, he can win her over. Even though a bad past experience has made her swear off dating this year.

But the more he gets to know her, the more uncomfortable he is keeping things from her. Because Nik Gustafsson has a secret. And it’s a big one.

Disclaimer: This Entangled Teen Crush book contains a hot boy who’s the strong and silent type, a studious girl who refuses to believe in fairy-tale romance, and one epic secret that could be disastrous if it comes to light.

Let’s Talk About…

Let’s Talk About…

Sex. Just kidding. We’re not going to talk about that so cool your hormones. I actually wanted to talk about…what did I want to talk about? ANGIE! Help me out here…

A: I keep reading that and it cracks me up!!! “Sex. just kidding” hahahahhahahaha

S: Teehee 😇

Well I just heard devastating news from Angie not long ago and although it may not be devastating to most, it is to me. (Insert over dramatic crying😩😫😭)

We just found out that the last book of TOG is DELAYED until NEXT YEAR!!! (dun dun duuuuunnn). I mean how horrible is that?!

Fucking Chaol…😒😑

Yea, I said it. The reason why the last book of TOG isn’t coming out until 2018 is because Chaol’s “novella” ended up turning into a “novel”. So because of that they are releasing his novel first. What the fuck?! I mean I don’t mind cuz Angie and I don’t have to wait that long since we still haven’t read Empire of Storms (we’re working on it but please, no spoilers; although we have been spoiling certain things on our own which flipping sucks). But it’s still devastating though! Cuz I know that once we are done reading EOS we have to wait a flippin’ year!! What the Flippin’ Fuck???!!

I do have to admit it is rather strategic. Get people excited for the last book but WAIT…we’ll postpone but here is this “filler” to satisfy your TOG needs while you wait longer for the grand finale!!

Geez I sound bitter, I don’t mean to but if I do then it’s because I’m in grief.😩😖

“I’ve regressed and gotten old, and I only have a few seconds of gravity left before it all comes crashing down on me.” (insert dramatic cry) That ladies and gents is a paraphrased quote from the marvelous play Motherfucker With The Hat by Stephen Adly Guirgis (the one where I’m assistant stage manager)

Which by the way, if you want to see it just contact me for the link to purchase the tickets. It is their final 2 weeks in performing so go watch them now while you can! (It’s in LA by the way, and by LA I mean Los Angeles, not Louisiana)😏

I digress!

Does anyone else feel upset about the final TOG book getting delayed? How do you feel about Chaol fucking up the process and making us wait longer? Are you interested in reading his novella?? Opps, I mean NOVEL??

Still bitter…I know…

I luv ya Chaol but I don’t really want to read your book, I’m more interested in the last installment but I will fall into the marketing trick and buy it anyway because I NEED my TOG fix after I finish reading EOS. Cuz I know Angie and I will be in despair after the emotional train-wreck we will go on together.

What are your thoughts people of the world? Are you just as bitter as I am? Or do you just not care about my heart breaking over this dilemma? (Geez, dramatic much? Of course no one cares ya DQ)(Which stands for Dairy Queen not Drama Queen)…(wait..)

*When you’re so dramatic that you talk to yourself even on the computer*😃

Let me know your thoughts! Comment down below, Subscribe (or follow, I still don’t know how this thing works), and like if ya like it. And if ya don’t then ya can walk right out that door on your left. Just kidding. (or am I?) No but really, I’m kidding. Just don’t be a bully.🤓💕
